Although Black Sabbath had already said goodbye to the stages, frontman and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who kept touring as a solo act has only yesterday announced that he will be doing the same.
Titled “No More Tours 2”, as a reference to his 1992 “No More Tours” tour, the European set of dates are an extension to his North American tour which is currently in progress and features some of the most notable names that were part of Ozzy’s career such as Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards). The tour will begin in Dublin, Ireland on the 30th of January 2019 and will finish in Barcelona, Spain on the 3rd of March 2019. For all dates of the tour except the last 3 dates, the metal gods Judas Priest will be doing the honours of opening the stage.
On this tour, Ozzy Osbourne will be celebrating a career spanning over 5 decades of hits, both as a solo acts as well as frontman of Black Sabbath. Ozzy himself said “I’m looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades.”. More dates are expected to be added through to 2020, and although the tour marks the end of touring actively for Ozzy, he will continue to perform occasionally.
