Metallihelvetti will host the joint album release party of SOLOTHUS, CANNIBAL ACCIDENT and ATRETIC INTESTINE. Next Saturday (19.03.2016), the TVO venue in Turku city will witness a “DeathDoomGrinding triple penetration album release party” from their home bands!!

To open the night we will have ATRETIC INTESTINE, created in 2006 the band plays death metal with lyrics orientated to the gore, torture and death as the name of the band might already suggest. The band is releasing their second full length album named Trail of Entrails.

CANNIBAL ACCIDENT will not differ much on style from the previous band, maybe pending a bit more on the grindcore genre. Seemingly more active in recording their music, this band is releasing their third full length album,  Ritual Paprika, after their formation back in 2007.

Last but definitely not least from the bands celebrating the new albums, SOLOTHUS. As explained in previous interviews, the band name derives from the Bacteria Solothus Maleficium, that can be found in the northern forests of Finland, provoking high fever and blood tears. They play something more in the lines of Death Doom metal, with lyrics ranging from dark fantasy and occult topics to death and doom. After their formation in 2007 the band kept themselves quite active with live performances. While they only have a couple of shows in the UK to add to their international experience, they became quite notorious in the underground scene in Finland. Highlighting the presence in the 2015 Finnish Death Metal Maniacs Fest and a 2015 tour with Undergang and Corpsessed. This will be their second full length album entitled No King Reigns Eternal.

As special guest for what is already expected to be an unique evening, PURTENANCE will close the TVO stage. Formed in Nokia (neighbour Turku town) in the early 90’s, have been a strong presence in the death metal scene. With a fresh album to show off, released last September, it’s almost certain that material from “…to Spread the Flame of Ancients” will be included in their evening setlist.

The doors of TVO venue will open at 21h and the shows scheduled to start at 21h30. Tickets are 5€ and the show is for only +18y.
