Preview – Morbid Spring Fest II

After the successful first edition of Morbid Spring Fest last year, a second edition had to be mandatory. This time Stone the Crow Productions improved the festival by adding 5 more bands to the bill.

Made entirely by portuguese bands, the bill counts with:

Martelo Negro (black/thrash metal) – The quartet hailing from Lisbon released their 2nd studio album ”Equinócio Espectral” in 2014 and since then they’ve been touring presenting the songs from an already ten years career.

A Tree of Signs (doom rock) – Also from Lisbon, this band doesn’t use guitars, making their sound more melancholic. They’re also preparing the release of their debut album and will come up to the stage with a refreshed line-up.

Bleeding Display (death metal) – Driven by the pure death metal sound, this Lisbon quintet are prepared to melt faces and to give all the energy they have.

Redemptus (sludge/doom metal) – The trio composed by M.M., P.R. and M.S. have only a studio album called ”We All Die The Same” but they are recording a new album. Will we hear some new stuff on the stage this Friday?

Grimlet (death metal) – After releasing their third album ”Theia: Aesthetics Of A Lie” last month, the death metallers from Figueira da Foz are going to blast Morbid Spring stage and make everyone headbang.

Disthrone (black metal/crust punk) – After releasing their first EP called ”Retaliação” last year, Dishtrone will continue to promote their raw black metal/crust punk sound. Morbid Spring, be prepared!

Gaerea (black metal) – Founded last year and with the release of their EP ” Gaerea”, this new band is ready to show what they are made of and what to expect from them.

Burned Blood (melodic deathcore) – With two EP on the baggage, Burned Blood have the experience (founded in 2009) to deliver a really good show.

My Dementia (doom/death metal) – With only one EP to show, this quartet are ready to give Morbig Spring’s public a really good time. They’re also recording a new album so maybe they will tease a little what is coming from them.

The gigs will happen at Pátio do Sol (Fábrica da Pólvora – Barcarena) in 14th of April (Friday) and the tickets (that can be purchased at the door) will cost 10€.
