OESTRYMNIS is the first portuguese Neo Folk festival, and it’s going to take place this weekend, on the 4th and 5th of March, at the garden 9 de Abril, in Lisbon. The billing features some very interesting iberian (portuguese and spanish) acts, such as Sangre de Muerdago, Árnica, Urze de Lume presenting their record “Caminhos da Urze”, Camerata Ophiussa, Falcata de Fogo, Drusuna debuting their EP “Kaytos Kom”, and a very special acoustic show by portuguese pagan black metal/dark folk act Azagatel.
However, as the name implies, this is more than just a music festival. As such, there will also be some showings of traditional arts and foods, as well as some lectures about the survival of folklore and traditions in the Iberian Peninsula, and old musical instruments, just to name a few.
The tickets can be bought at their official page, for the prices of 8 euros per day, and 13 euros for both days. More information can be found in here.
