About the bands:
PRIMORDIAL
After 31 years of career, the Irish Primordial keep wandering and, this year they delivered their newest full-length “Exile Amongst the Ruins”.
This coven is credited for being the first black metal band emerging from Ireland and the celtic folk blend present in their music is undeniable. With them, they bring not only their music and their stories, but also the tales of men that lived and died before them, their battles and of many lost empires
AURA
With a Post black metal approach that subtly intertwines with a mournful post-rock, Aura comes from the northern Guimarães. Although their Bandcamp is still a bit empty, one immediately gets stroke by the intensity and depth of “Hamartia” and it sure is worth a visit!
BASALTO
Coming from the inner mountainous landscapes of Portugal (Viseu), this Doom/Stoner band incarnates the nature of basalto and their music gets as physical as the mentioned stone. Active since 2015, this three men group just released their newest work “Doença”. And, as the title announces, they will surely build a “dark aura” on their act.
DECAYED
Decayed is one of the oldest and more active black metal bands in Portugal. The have almost three decades of experience, without ever losing their identity. Currently promoting their latest release “Of Fire and Evil”, these masters of dirty and decadent blackness will surely make it worth your while.
