There are a lot of good prog festivals lately, and Eindhoven seems to be a stronghold of prog metal, organizing one of the most thrilling events in a long time: Prognosis Festival!

The organizers have invited none less than Devin Townsend himself to play an exclusive solo set, as well as the US no. 1 prog band Haken, who might have a guest appearance by Einar Solberg on stage during the song “The Architect”. The name Einar Solberg might ring a bell, as he is the vocalist of Norway’s most awesome prog band Leprous. They will deliver a very special set, as they will perform their complete album “The Congregation”, still being one of their fans’ favorite album, containing monumental songs like “Moon”, “Slave” or “Lower”. Furthermore Tesseract, The Gathering and Witchcraft are among the headliners.

And as if this wasn’t enough, they also back up with a lot of bands which lately got under the spotlight, such as Soen, Nosound or Alex Skolnick Trio.

Furthermore, before the festival doors will open on March 22nd, some clinics are held in a nearby location, such as a vocal coaching with Anneke Giesenberg or Tesseract, and a drum clinic with Baard Kolstad, who won several prices for being world’s best drummer. All in all very exiting and only very few tickets are left.
