Not everyone is familiar with this fact, but absolutely worth mentioning: Tuska 20th anniversary happens in 2017 and to celebrate the occasion the organisers announced that a book, with the attempted title ”Tuska 20-vuotta”, will be written by the rock journalist Jone Nikula (involved in the festival organization since its origins). Tuska Festival book will be published by Like Kustannus. To assemble the book, all people that have been attending the festival are asked to share their experiences, photos etc. with the writer. A photobank was created in order to collect all the possible material, so go and upload your best Tuska photos (previous or coming 2016 edition) and take the chance of being featured in this unique book.

Regarding this year edition: Tuska Open Air festival will take place once more in Suvilahti, in the heart of the Finnish capital Helsinki. This relatively new festival location has been evolving along the past years. As this edition main improvement, that needs to be highlighted, is the change in the second stage. The organisers decided to make the second stage inside a tent like in the previous festival location. This will provide a more “festival feeling” to the second stage and in my personal opinion a welcomed extra protection for the unstable weather conditions (either extremely hot or raining cats and dogs).
