Another great night of metal in Porto, this time at the well-known HardClub, with a unique atmosphere, which welcomed the return of the Australian band NeObliscaris to our country.
Opening the show, we had the Australian trio The Omnific, with their two bass players and a drummer, who warmed up the audience for the big night. The band performed songs such as “Antecedent” and “Wax & Wane” focusing its setlist on the album “Escapades”.
With no time to lose, straight from Andorra, Persefone entered with their progressive death metal that took the audience to its peak. The beginning of the show featuring “Flying Sea Dragons”, “Mind as Universe” and “The Great Reality” immediately caught the crowd and was a sign of what was to come. A fantastic performance by a very solid band.
At the night’s end, the awaited Australian band Ne Obliviscaris came with their progressive death metal with an intense composition that did not leave anyone indifferent.
With “Intra Venus” and towards “Equus” and “Misericorde” from their new album “EXUL”, they started a show where they demonstrated once again their sophistication and masterclass in composition.
Not leaving behind old songs like “Devour Me” from the great album “Citadel”, they ended the night with “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope” from 2012.
It should be noted that the presence of a violin shows a different approach to metal and heightens the spectacularity of this sextet.
With Kevin Paradis on drums and James Dorton on harsh vocals, together they reveal a fantastic stage presence that captivates and takes the show to another level!
