Gods of Violence is the name of the new Kreator album, which sounds like reflection about their visions of the era that we’re living in, and other personal aspects.
Following the same characteristic sound that fans of the band can relate too, one of the German institutions of thrash metal present another consistent, brutal, and straight forward record, where there’s no boring parts that stop the momentum trough out the record.
Smashing songs like “World War Now”, “Satan Is Real”, “Totalitarian Terror”, “Gods of Violence”, “Army of Storms”, “Hail to the Hordes” with the participation of Boris Peifer on bagpipes (something new in the Kreator universe, that not overshadow the song), and “Lion with Eagle Wings”, are some examples of brilliant riffing and balanced solos.
Produced, recorded, and mixed by Jens Bogren, and mastered by Tony Lindgrenat Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, the listener will find that this album shows a the band that keeps the inspiration going record after record, and develops like few, a unique sound allied to quality songs, balanced in between the most basic thrash and the most skilled technic, thanks to the solos of Sami Yli-Sirniö.
We will hear that the voice of Mille Petrozza, is still angry as previous releases, which will delight the fans. In sum, it’s another great record of Kreator, definitely will be one of the best of the year, and probably, the listener will not find something more incredible than this in terms of thrash metal during this year, that got three videos released already for “Satan Is Real”, “Totalitarian Terror”, and “Gods of Violence”.
A must listen record for all the fans of Kreator and metal in general.
