Brazilian post-rock band LABIRINTO played last week at Side B, Benavente, under their first European tour. The instrumental textures that they created filled an empty room with imaginary quiet sets, where we could chose the whole story of each one of the four short movies they presented.
But yet, here and then, between the seductively sad landscapes, the instrumental crescendo of their music shacked the mind with relative strength.
With two well received albums on their back, LABIRINTO seemed to be still with guts for more evolution, as they told us how surprisingly big the European circuit was for them. At least for the post-rock scene.
“Anatema” and “Diluvium” where the most noticed tracks from their setlist (also with “Cairo”, “Flagelo” and “Piam Ket”).
And so the 50 minutes journey ended, with no bruises but with lots of miles covered in everyone’s imaginary.
