Portuguese melodic death metal titans Apotheus just released a new video for the track “Staring the Abyss”, taken from their latest full-length “The Far Star”.

“Staring the Abyss” is about despair and loss, but it also paves the way for a fallback plan in which everyone puts their hopes.
After such a dark terrible loss for everyone, the band has decided to bring you a glimpse of light. This video captures very well the joy and excitement of what happened at our first post-pandemic live show. It’s hard to put into words the feeling of rediscovering what truly drives them.
In essence, this is what “The Far Star” is about: a journey, with terrible losses and majestic wins, but above all, it’s about never giving up.
