Czech black metallers CULT OF FIRE will release their 4th studio output entitled “Čtvrtá Symfonie Ohně” (The Fourth Symphony of Fire) on the 8th of December 2014. According to the band, It was originally planned to be released after Triumvirát, but since the fascination with India was so strong, everything else was put aside. Take a look at the album artwork below.
This EP is dedicated to the composer Bedřich Smetana and two beautiful rivers – the Czech Vltava and Slovak Váh. This fourth symphony will be released through Iron Bonehead as a 7″ picture EP – marking the 140th anniversary of Smetana finishing his composition “Vltava”.
In other news, due to the unfortunate and yet unknown neurological problem with CULT OF FIRE drummer’s (Tom Coroner) right foot, Jurgen from the death metal heretics Heaving Earth will be performing all studio and live sessions during fall, 2014. Coroner has monitored the drum tracks and played all additional percussion in the studio and will be behind the mixing console during upcoming live shows.
