PREVIEW: EMBRYO, MELECHESH and NILE @ Nosturi

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival once again managed to organize a very interesting night with EMBRYO, MELECHESH and NILE. The show is part of the “WHAT SHOULD NOT BE UNEARTHED 2016 TOUR PART II”, that starts on the 26th March and will continue till 16th April. Almost as a pre tour show, NILE will also hit the Rockefeller stage of INFERNO 2016 festival in Oslo on the 25th of March. I surely hope this very powerful and exotic combination of bands will be enough to tempt many locals to go out in a wednesday night.

EMBRYO is a melodic death metal band coming from Italy that stands out in their genre by somehow mixing quite diverse genre elements to build an unexpected extreme sonority, including brutal/death core vocals, symphonic keyboard melodies and groovy drums. They released their first full length album beginning of 2015 and have been on tour last summer to present their work.

MELECHESH a black/death/middle eastern folk metal band was originally founded in Israel, but due to religious harassment suffered in their home country, decided to relocate the band to Netherlands. Their lyrics are strongly inspired in the Mesopotamian/Sumerian Mythology.

NILE is by definition included in the technical death metal but the band itself likes to categorize themselves as “Ithyphallic Metal” due to their Egyptian influences. Their long career (since 1993) makes introductions unnecessary but to refresh your memory of what this band is capable to deliver, check the following video from their 8th full album “What Should Not Be Unearthed“ released last august.

The event will take place in one of the biggest venues of Helsinki, Nosturi, on the 30.3.2016.
The doors will open at 19h and the exact time for the shows is still not confirmed (lineup running order: EMBRYO , MELECHESH, NILE ). Tickets can be purchased from www.lippupalvelu.fi or at the venue door, prices ranging from 27,50€ to 30,50€ + the cloakroom fee.
