Another year in which the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig will take place between 07th – 10th June 2019.
This year, until now, 160 bands have been confirmed, some with special concerts that promise to please fans of alternative and gothic music: White Lies, Cradle of Filth, Still Corners, Tangerine Dream, The Soft Moon, Tamaryn, New Model Army, Nitzer Ebb, Light Asylum, Christian Death, and more…
Among these special events, some highlights are an exclusive 30th anniversary concert from Murder At The Registry band, a special German festival show celebrating the 40th anniversary of the “Stateless” album from Lene Lovich Band. Also, an exclusive 20th anniversary reunion show from Sanguis Et Cinis , the first show of Eva O, William Faith and Stevyn Gray in 27 years with the Shadow Project 1334, an exclusive German reunion show from Cat Rapes Dog and the first European show from the North American band Autumn.
Other bands like Alien Vampires, Camerata Mediolanense, Coph Nia, Das Ich, Faun, Goethes Erben, Inkubus Sukkubus, London After Midnight, Schwarzer Engel, Schandmaul, The Moon And The Nightspirit, The Cassandra Complex, The O’Reillys & The Paddyhats, Cradle of Filth, Christian Death, Carren Angren, New Model Army and many more (including 2 Portuguese bands: Urze de Lume and She Pleasures Herself), will give their contribution to these 4 days of celebration and music through the various venues in Leipzig where the concerts will take place.
Tickets
4-Day-Tickets for all events within the 28th Wave-Gotik-Treffen Whitsun 2019 are available for 130,- € each in advance ticket sale. The Treffen-Event-Ticket includes the free usage of all public transport within Zone 110 of the MDV (Mitteldeutscher Verkehrverbund), this includes all trams, buses and S-Bahn lines except special lines e.g. sightseeing tours). Detailed information (e.g. period of validity) is to be found on the reverse side of the ticket.
Camping
For camping you need a special ticket called Obsorgekarte (available for 25,- €) that allows you to stay at the Treffen-Campground (agra-fairground) from June 6th to 11th
Parking
For car parking at the Treffen-area (agra) you have to purchase a parking vignette for 15,- € (including advance sale charges). Parking at the Treffen-area (agra-Messepark) is definitely not possible without a parking vignette.
