After almost 15 years of career LEPROUS developed from just another local band from Notodden (Norway) to very influential in the progressive metal scene. Starting by the end of March the second part of their european tour, and with many shows in their curriculum they are finally happy with the way musically and aesthetically their live performance flows, so the decision to go forward and record a live album / DVD was taken. Quoting:
“We have a show we’re very proud of and we wish to eternalize it”
But with the increasing difficulties in the musical industry, as many other bands, they also felt the need to ask their fans for support to cover the high costs that this kind of recording demands. Like in many other cases the fans support can vary in amount and you can get some unique items in exchange, ranging from signed products, skype lessons, rare/unique items and vip concert tickets.
With still one month left for the crowd funding they already managed to gather 80% of the amount they aimed for (20,000€), and the promise of special guest appearances and plenty of special effects has been made.
