Porto and Lisbon are set to host Angelus Apatrida and Vio-Lence on a bill that brings together two distinct trajectories within the thrash metal genre.
The “Eruption of Screams – Thrash Domination” tour positions itself as a meeting point between two bands whose careers help illuminate not only the genre’s past, but also its enduring vitality. The first date is scheduled for 24 July at Hard Club, in Porto, followed by a Lisbon performance at RCA Club the next day, 25 July.

Nearly four decades after its initial emergence, thrash metal continues to demonstrate a notable capacity for adaptation and longevity, remaining active through both its original proponents and newer generations that reject framing it as a purely nostalgic exercise.
