Blue Medusa Drops New Single ‘FLYING MONKEY’

After going parted ways with Melodic Death Metal titans Arch Enemy, Alissa White-Gluz has been focussing on new musical endeavors.

Among them, a band under the name Blue Medusa she formed alongside Dani Sophia (ex-Lindermann) and Alyssa Day (Mindscar/In Asentia). The group released their debut single, “CHECKMATE”, on March 20th.

Today, Blue Medusa returns with a brand-new single titled “FLYING MONKEY”, further showcasing the band’s sound: 

As for a full-length album, no official announcement or release date has been revealed yet. However, White-Gluz stated, in recent interview to BLABBERMOUTH, that fans can expect more singles coming from Blue Medusa before a full album arrives: 

I want us to release a lot of singles so people are familiar with the songs, and then, when we release an album, of course, there will be more songs they’ll hear.

Earlier this month, Alissa White-Gluz also announced that she had joined DragonForce, sharing lead vocal duties with Marc Hudson.
