Preview: Batushka – ‘End Of Litourgiya’ European Pilgrimage in Portugal

All things, good and bad, inevitably meet their demise. As such, Batushka will storm Europe this autumn with the purpose of bringing the End Of Litourgiya to the faithless masses one last time. This tour, presents itself as the end of the promotion cycle for Litourgiya (2015). This is the band’s extremely successful debut record, baptized as a modern black metal classic by hordes of extreme music fans.

The unholy pilgrimage has two dates in Portugal – 24th of September in Lisbon (RCA Club), followed by the 25th of September in Porto (Hard Club). The night’s hostilities in both events will be initiated by the portuguese black metal outfit Gaerea.

Tickets for both shows are available www.ticketea.com, and also at the concert venues. Prices are 17€ (early-bird special) and 23€ (door price). Both dates are brought to you by Amazing Events.

Both shows are set to start at 20:00. For more information, please visit the official Facebook events for each show in the following links – Porto and Lisbon.

About the bands:

BATUSHKA

This mysterious black metal band from Poland made its debut in the end of 2015 with their one and only (so far) album “Litourgiya” and quickly took the black metal scene by storm. Their name, in the Cyrillic original means father, and its used to address the priests in eastern orthodox christian religion.

Their ensemble live resembles a black mass ritual and contains 8 elements on stage.

GAEREA

The Portuguese black metal group, are promoting their debut work, “Unsettling Whispers”. Known also for their intense and mysterious performances, they are surly a good addition to the rituals.
