Amazing Events, the organizers of Vagos Metal Fest have announced that the festival will be postponed to 2022.
Quoting the festival’s Facebook page:
Amazing Events and the Municipality of Vagos, along with the competent authorities, have been working so far to create conditions to bring you in 2021 the Vagos Metal Fest. However, given the current situation of the pandemic, it is impossible to organize the event in a way that the participants can enjoy it in safe conditions, in addition to the impossibility of maintaining the molds so characteristic of an event as special as the Vagos Metal Fest as freedom and fun. Therefore, we can only guarantee that next year we will return even stronger and safer and that soon we will announce the names for the 2022 edition, which will take place on July 28, 29 and 30.
Given this postponement, we would like to inform you that under the terms of DL nº 10-I/2020, of March 26th, as amended by DL nº 26-A/2021, of April 5th:
1. The tickets purchased for the Vagos Metal Fest 2020 will remain valid for the 2022 dates, with no need for exchange. The ticket holder may, if he wishes, request a refund at the point of sale where he purchased the ticket, within 14 working days after the scheduled date of the event in 2021 (i.e. between July 29th, 2021 and August 17th, 2021). Failure to do so will result in the ticket being valid for the new dates without the need for exchange.
2. The tickets purchased for the Vagos Metal Fest 2021 remain valid for the dates of 2022, without need of exchange and without the possibility of refund.For questions regarding tickets, please contact info@vagosmetalfest.com
We also inform you that both Amazing Events and the Câmara Municipal de Vagos agree that culture is an important pillar in everyone’s life. In that sense and in the possibility of developing a project where culture is safe, we are working so that later this year, in different ways and adapted to the current situation, we can bring to Vagos an event with musical diversity where Metal will also have a place, as Vagos is the Metal Capital of Portugal! We will give you news about this project as soon as possible.
