Back with a new name due to new band formation, Grave Pleasures (ex-Beastmilk) presents “Dreamcrash”, technically the second album after the great start that was “Climax”. The first difference is that the album is not so heavy has the previous one, but it doesn’t make a difference because the songs are really good. Within the singles “New Hip Moon” and “Crying Wolves”, you can also find great songs clearly influenced by Joy Division but with serious guitars and a better recorded voice, like “Utopian Scream”, “Futureshock”, “Crisis”, “Taste The Void”, “Lipstick On Your Tombstone”, and “Girl In a Vortex”. During all the album we get that nostalgic feeling of things that are long gone, but it tastes so sweet. This is the perfect crash of all your dreams, if you’re into gothic rock or just look for something different in rock music. A real challenge for those who thought that the old 80’s ethereal sound that made you hit the dancefloor was dead and gone.
