MOONSPELL Reveal Full Line-Up for Halloween United 2025: Celebrating 30 Years of Wolfheart
Portugal’s most iconic metal export, MOONSPELL, have announced the full line-up for Halloween United 2025, set for October 31 at LAV – Lisboa Ao Vivo. This special edition marks the 30th anniversary of their landmark debut album Wolfheart and promises a night where history, intensity, and artistry converge in Lisbon.
For this exclusive celebration, MOONSPELL will perform Wolfheart in its entirety, offering fans a rare opportunity to revisit the record that redefined gothic metal and put Portugal on the global metal map. Joining them are long-time friends and Swedish melodic death metal pioneers Dark Tranquillity, reaffirming a partnership that has endured across decades and continents.
Completing the bill are Sinistro, one of Portugal’s most distinctive acts, known for their cinematic heaviness and atmospheric depth. Signed to Alma Mater Records, the imprint founded by frontman Fernando Ribeiro, the band adds an emotional and immersive layer to an already formidable line-up.
The night will extend well past the live performances. Aerial and fire artist Tatsh will deliver a visually striking performance, followed by a late-night DJ set from Weirdboy, a fixture of Lisbon’s alternative nightlife. The event will close with a DJ battle between Fernando Ribeiro and Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), blending darkwave, metal, and gothic influences in a spirited late-night duel.
Coinciding with the concert, MOONSPELL will also release their live album and film Opus Diabolicum – Live at the MEO Arena. Recorded in 2024 alongside the Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa and conducted by Maestro Vasco Pearce de Azevedo, this release immortalises the band’s acclaimed symphonic performance — a fusion of metal’s emotional weight and orchestral grandeur. The video for “Vampiria” offers a glimpse into the breathtaking visuals and sound that defined that historic night.
As MOONSPELL continue to honour three decades of Wolfheart, their Halloween rituals remain a cornerstone of Portugal’s heavy music scene — nights where nostalgia, communion, and creative fire meet under the same shadowed sky.
Tickets are available now via Ticketline and cost 35.00€.
