“The Quest For A Morning Star” is a compilation/album of soundtrack themes created by the very well known graphic artist and musician, Costin Chioreanu, to support and raise funds for the victims of the tragedy at Collectiv Club, Bucharest.These soundtrack themes were originally created for various art movie exhibitions, fitting very well in this compilation/album and in its solidarity purpose.
In this musical and visual quest, Costin reunites a constellation of guests stars like Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Mirai Kawashima (Sigh) or Rune Eriksen (ex-Mayhem and Ava Inferi, Twilight Of The Gods, Aura Noir), just to name a few examples, that have helped him to develop this brilliant project that leads us to a dark and melancholic space where we can experience emotions and feelings like despair, anger, sadness but also the need of being alone for a reflection time and then this positive feeling called hope, all of these things that are present in our lives and constant reality, exactly as if we were listening to the soundtrack of a movie, and that can be the movie of our lives, and we must assure this is not an easy listening album because your mind and spirit, heart and soul have to be ready to enter in this space. This album is a masterpiece that can’t be ignored, we advise you to buy it and doing a noble gesture.
Highly appreciated and recommended for dark/ambient/avant-garde music lovers, “The Quest For A Morning Star” expands your ears to new horizons and it shows you the sad reality’s soundtrack. However, there’s hope in darkness. Not all is lost.
