The magic of the past, the power of the present — an unforgettable reunion that fans of epic, symphonic, and operatic metal will not want to miss.

Following a hugely successful tour across South America in 2024 and a series of emotionally charged, often sold-out concerts throughout 2025, Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala will continue their collaborative journey on stage in 2026. As part of an extensive European tour, the acclaimed Finnish duo will take the stage at Lisbon’s Coliseu dos Recreios on 29 January, promising a memorable night for fans of symphonic and epic metal.

Tarja and Marko first shared the stage again after 18 years during the Living The Dream – The Hits Tour 2024, delivering unforgettable moments to audiences worldwide. This long-awaited reunion of the former Nightwish members not only celebrated a past filled with iconic songs, but also opened the door to a promising new chapter. Following the release of their duet single “Left On Mars” and the overwhelmingly positive response from fans, the collaboration will extend into 2026, with more high-profile performances across Europe.

Tarja & Marko Hietala

Widely regarded as the queen of symphonic metal, Tarja Turunen remains the most internationally recognised Finnish solo artist within the genre. A classically trained soprano, composer, and performer, she rose to global prominence as the co-founder and iconic voice of Nightwish, earning Gold and Platinum records in multiple countries. In 2024, she released her first greatest hits album, Best of Tarja – Living The Dream, featuring remastered tracks from My Winter Storm, What Lies Beneath, Colours In The Dark, The Brightest Void, The Shadow Self, and In the Raw, culminating in the powerful single “Eye Of The Storm”.

Marko Hietala was also a key figure during what many consider Nightwish’s golden era and brings with him a legacy and artistic presence of his own. In addition to reuniting with Tarja for this highly emotional collaboration, he will present material from his latest solo album, Roses From The Deep, released on 7 February, accompanied by his own band. The record reveals a deeper and more introspective side of the Finnish artist, making these concerts with Tarja an especially compelling experience.

What will 2026 bring? More classics, new material, or unexpected surprises? All questions will be answered on 29 January, but anticipation around this reunion continues to grow. With undeniable chemistry, a setlist expected to include timeless songs and possible new highlights, this concert stands as a rare opportunity to witness two true icons of symphonic metal sharing the same stage once again — revisiting history while creating new memories.

Tickets are available via Bilheteira Online, FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, ABEP, Unkind.pt, and internationally through Masqueticket.
