We are rapidly approaching the new year of 2026, and with it, the new edition of the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, taking place between May 22nd and 25th.
Since the beginning of November, many band names have been released to the public, bands that will be performing during those days in numerous venues scattered throughout Leipzig.
So far, 96 bands/projects have been confirmed, including some big names from the gothic and electronic music scenes.
Alongside names like Clan Of Xymox, Das Ich, Frontline Assembly, Einstürzende Neubauten, Eisfabrik, London After Midnight, Suicide Commando, Solar Fake, Moonspell, Lacrimosa, Vermilia, Kim Wilde, Corpus Delicti, and Covenant, there are other potentially more underground but equally interesting and high-quality names such as 45 Grave, Astari Nite, Altar De Fey, Ductape, Diorama, The Palace Of Tears, Minuit Machine, Nox Novacula, The Crimson Ghosts, Vaughn George, Ambassador21, among others.
Cat Rapes Dog will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a special show, Myrna Loy will reunite to perform in Leipzig, The Beauty Of Gemina Trio will play an exclusive acoustic concert, and Suicide Commando’s concert will also be a celebration of their 40 years of existence.
