Transvision Vamp returned to a Portuguese stage on October 1st, at Hard Club in Porto, after performing at LAV the previous night.
The night opened with Logan J. Parker, a Portuguese-British singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose sound draws from soul, 70s rock and vintage blues, even getting the audience to sing along to “Back to Black” by Amy Winehouse.

Transvision Vamp’s entrance was immediately met with applause. Wendy James took on lead vocals, accompanied by Dave Parsons on bass, Alex Ward and Pip Stakem on guitars, Matt Millership on keyboards and James Sclavunos on drums. The British band presented a pop-rock setlist, revisiting songs from different stages of their career.
Wendy James maintained a punk presence and attitude at the front of the stage, wearing the official T-shirt from the Born to Be Sold 2026 World Tour, simultaneously referencing the name of the current tour and one of the band’s songs.

The venue had a more intimate atmosphere. The multi-generational crowd was initially more reserved, but gradually loosened up throughout the show, with applause and people letting themselves be carried away by the rhythm of the music. “Landslide of Love” and “Baby I Don’t Care” were among the songs that drew the strongest reactions from the audience, with several people capturing the moment on camera.
More than simply revisiting their hits, the Hard Club show highlighted a band still connected to the identity that has defined their career, maintaining the energy and attitude that remain associated with Transvision Vamp.
Special thanks to ClapBox, the promoter of this tour.
