After seven years away from the country, french band Alcest will return to Portugal for two concerts in April 2027.
The shows are part of the EUROPE 2027 TOUR and will take place on April 9 at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, in Lisbon, and on April 10 at Hard Club, in Porto.
With more than two decades of history, and led by Neige and Winterhalter, Alcest have moved away from conventional black metal, incorporating elements of dream pop, post-rock and shoegaze into their music. The result is a distinctive and unique sound in which aggression and heaviness alternate with more serene melodies and atmospheric passages.
This interplay between aggression and tranquillity has established Alcest as pioneers of the blackgaze genre, earning them an ever-growing following over the years.
Alcest’s concerts are not merely concerts; they are physical and emotional experiences, journeys through nature as well as the human mind. In Portugal, audiences will have the opportunity to experience on two consecutive nights.
