EVILLIVE FESTIVAL returns to Lisbon on 4 and 5 July 2026 with a two-day programme centred around the EVILLIVE WARMUP at Sala Tejo and the main festival at the MEO Arena. Following the expanded three-day 2025 edition held at Estádio do Restelo, the festival returns to its established indoor format with a concentrated bill featuring internationally recognised names from across the spectrum of heavy music.
Evillive Warmup July 4th
The opening event takes place on 4 July at Sala Tejo, where EVILLIVE WARMUP will feature performances by TRIVIUM, CAVALERA and Portuguese death metal outfit OKKULTIST.
Fronted by Matt Heafy, TRIVIUM return to Lisbon following a career built on albums including Ascendancy, Shogun and In The Court Of The Dragon. CAVALERA, featuring founding SEPULTURA members Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera, will present the special Cavalera Plays Chaos A.D. performance, celebrating one of the most influential albums in heavy metal history. Completing the bill are OKKULTIST, one of Portugal’s leading contemporary extreme metal acts.
Evillive Festival July 5th
The festival’s main event takes place on 5 July at the MEO Arena, bringing together MARILYN MANSON, MEGADETH, MASTODON, CONVERGE, THE GATHERING and IMMINENCE.
MARILYN MANSON returns to Portugal after selling out Lisbon’s Campo Pequeno in November 2025. The current tour includes material from One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 alongside established tracks from throughout the band’s catalogue. MEGADETH’s appearance forms part of the band’s farewell world tour following the release of their seventeenth and final studio album, Megadeth, issued on 23 January 2026. The tour’s setlists have focused primarily on the band’s extensive catalogue, including songs such as “Hangar 18”, “Sweating Bullets”, “Countdown To Extinction”, “Symphony Of Destruction”, “Peace Sells” and “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due”.
MASTODON return to Portugal for their first performance since the departure of guitarist Brent Hinds in March 2025. The concert will also be the band’s first Portuguese appearance following Hinds’ death in August 2025. THE GATHERING return to Portugal after a seventeen-year absence, performing once again with vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen.
American hardcore pioneers CONVERGE also join the line-up. Formed in Salem, Massachusetts in 1990, the band remain one of the most influential names in hardcore and metalcore, with landmark releases including Jane Doe, Axe to Fall, All We Love We Leave Behind, The Dusk in Us and Love Is Not Enough.
Opening the main festival programme, Swedish metalcore outfit IMMINENCE will make their first-ever Portuguese appearance. The band has become known for combining modern metalcore with cinematic arrangements and the prominent use of violin within their sound.
