Death Feast Open Air announces 2027 line-up and new location

Death Feast Open Air moves to Wachtendonk for its 20th anniversary

Death Feast Open Air will celebrate its 20th anniversary from August 25th to 28th 2027 at Blaue Lagune in Wachtendonk, Germany. The move marks a return to the Lower Rhine region, where the festival developed during its earlier years.

The first wave of bands includes Napalm Death, Hypocrisy, Nile and Benediction, alongside Aeon, Gutalax, Brodequin, Benighted, Stillbirth, Gorerotted, Putrid Pile, Pathology, Torture, Vomit the Soul, Kanine, 9Dead, Cumbeast, Hurakan, Teething, Bunuhdiri, Celestial Scourge, Human Waste, Porn the Gore, Belly Error and Repulsive Feast.

The festival’s musical focus remains death metal and its related extreme subgenres, including brutal death metal, deathcore, grindcore and slam. The new venue also offers beach access, swimming, water sports and camping, forming part of the organisers’ “Death Metal Holiday” concept.

Further information on the complete programme and on-site arrangements is expected from the organisers.
