Rockòdrom Music Festival 2026 strengthens its alternative music identity with diverse international line-up
The Rockòdrom Music Festival will return on 11 and 12 September 2026 in Arinsal, Andorra, bringing together a programme that reinforces its commitment to rock, alternative music and heavy sounds. Now in its third edition, the festival continues to expand its profile with a line-up that combines internationally recognised artists with established and emerging acts from the Iberian Peninsula, consolidating its place within the Pyrenean alternative music calendar.
Leading the 2026 bill are Spanish instrumental post-rock outfit Toundra and Galician duo Bala, accompanied by an extensive selection of artists that reflects the festival’s stylistic diversity. Among the confirmed names are Møl, El Reno Renardo, Klone, Fallen At Dawn, and more alongside tribute performances by Madman (Ozzy & Black Sabbath Tribute) and Andorraidura, dedicated to the music of Extremoduro.
Since its inception, Rockòdrom Music Festival has sought to create a platform where different branches of alternative music coexist within the same event. The 2026 edition continues this approach by combining post-rock, post-metal, sludge, progressive rock, hardcore, alternative metal and punk across two days, offering audiences an opportunity to discover both established performers and newer projects within a carefully balanced programme.
The festival’s growth over its first editions has contributed to increasing its visibility beyond Andorra, attracting visitors from neighbouring countries while maintaining a strong connection to the local music community. Its mountain setting, combined with an increasingly ambitious artistic programme, has allowed Rockòdrom to establish a distinct identity among independent festivals in the region.
Among this year’s headline artists, Toundra have developed one of the most respected careers in European instrumental rock over the past two decades. Formed in Madrid in 2007, the quartet built its reputation through expansive compositions that merge post-rock, progressive structures and post-metal dynamics without relying on vocals. Albums such as II, III, IV, Vortex and Hex have demonstrated a consistent evolution in songwriting while preserving the band’s distinctive cinematic approach. Their performances at major European festivals and extensive international touring have established Toundra as one of Spain’s leading instrumental acts, recognised for balancing technical sophistication with emotional depth and dynamic live performances. Their continued artistic development and enduring relevance make them a fitting headline act for a festival dedicated to the broad spectrum of contemporary alternative music.
