Led by Shavo Odadjian, bassist of System Of A Down, SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET promises to leave no one indifferent at the EVILLIVE FESTIVAL.
Formed in 2024, SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET is the new band of Shavo Odadjian, famous as the bassist of the iconic System Of A Down. However, the band’s lineup is a true “who’s who” of contemporary extreme music, featuring Taylor Barber (from Left To Suffer) on vocals, Michael “Morgoth” Montoya (a producer associated with Winds Of Plague) and Alejandro Aranda (also known as ‘Scarypoolparty’, a former finalist of American Idol) on guitars, and Josh Johnson (from Winds Of Plague) on drums. The band made their debut with the single Paradise, released in June 2024, marking their entry into the music scene with a robust sound blending deathcore elements and melody. In August, the second single, Radiance, previewed their debut self-titled album, which was released on October 11, 2024, through 1336 Records, a partnership between Odadjian and Sumerian Records. With a heavy-hitting lineup and diverse influences, the band is set to push the boundaries of the genre.
