Motionless In White announce full line-up for Portugal concert

Motionless In White have confirmed the complete line-up for their concert in Portugal, scheduled for July 4 2027 at MEO Arena in Lisbon. The American band will be joined by Beartooth, Gaerea, Wage War, Currents and Novelists for a show forming part of their European headline tour.

The tour follows a different format from a conventional touring package, with Motionless In White selecting a distinct line-up for each city. The Lisbon date will therefore feature a combination of artists chosen specifically for the Portuguese audience.

American metalcore band Beartooth, led by vocalist Caleb Shomo, will join the bill with a sound built around heavy riffs, hardcore influences and melodic choruses. Their inclusion adds another established name from the contemporary American metalcore scene to the programme.

Portuguese band Gaerea will also perform, representing the country on an international bill at one of Lisbon’s largest indoor concert venues. Known for combining black metal with atmospheric arrangements and an intense approach to performance, the band has developed a growing international presence in recent years. The concert will provide an opportunity for Gaerea to perform on a major domestic stage alongside several international acts.

The line-up also includes Wage War and Currents, two American bands associated with different approaches to modern metalcore. Wage War combine heavy guitar work and breakdowns with melodic passages, while Currents incorporate more elaborate arrangements and atmospheric elements into their sound.

French band Novelists complete the announced programme. Their music draws on progressive metalcore, technical guitar work and melodic structures, adding another dimension to the range of styles represented at the concert.

Motionless In White will headline the event, returning to Portugal with material from Decades, their seventh studio album, released in July 2026. Formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 2005, the band have developed a sound that combines metalcore with industrial, gothic and electronic influences. Their catalogue includes albums such as Creatures, Reincarnate, Disguise and Scoring the End of the World.

The Lisbon concert is part of the group’s summer 2027 European headline dates, which include performances in several countries. The decision to curate a different support bill for each stop makes the Portuguese date distinct within the tour.

The concert takes place on July 4 2027 at MEO Arena, Lisbon.

Doors are scheduled to open at 16:00, with the show beginning at 17:00.

Tickets are priced between 55€ and 65€, depending on the seating or standing section, and are available through the usual ticket outlets.
