Finnish traditional heavy metal act TYRANTTI releases their second album ”Orjaplaneetta” (”Planet of Slaves”) on 26th February through Playground Music Finland.
Tyrantti released three singles ”Aja!”, ”Veritiikeri” and ”Toinen Maailma” in advance of the album released and all have already been released to great praise.
Tyrantti’s second album ”Orjaplaneetta” follows the success story of the power trio’s self-titled debut in 2019. According to the band, the sophomore album is ”in every way harder, better, faster and stronger” than its predecessor.

The lyrics – sung in Finnish – are based in a post-apocalyptic world, where machines have overtaken the planet. The album cover features original dystopian comic art by illustrator Julia Riitijoki. The album was recorded and mixed by Juhis Kauppinen and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius).
The album is now available in CD, digital and limited transparent blue LP formats.
On release day they shared a new single and a sporty music video called ”Feeniks”:

Vocalist-bassist Nahka-Sami comments:
When the riff of Feeniks was first introduced at band practice, the guys started doing spontaneous push-ups and squats. That’s some great workout music right there! The message is simple: If you fall down, just don’t give up and rise from the ashes like a phoenix (”Feeniks”) and keep trying. That’s the mentality we also have as a metal band in these dark times. Orjaplaneetta is our second album, but definitely not the last!
Tyrantti broke the limits of the traditional heavy metal underground with their breathtaking first single Tulipyörä in 2017. The Helsinki-based power trio released their self-titled debut album “Tyrantti” in 2019 through Playground Music Finland. The album hit #6 on the national physical album charts in Finland.
