NADA Fest announces Blasphemy, Sadistic Intent and Gehenna for 2027

The NADA Fest has announced the first three bands for its 2027 edition, scheduled to take place from June 10th to 12th at the Pavilhão dos Sabores in Beja, Portugal.

The initial announcement brings together Canadian black/death metal pioneers Blasphemy, American death metal band Sadistic Intent, and Norwegian black metal act Gehenna.

Formed in Vancouver in 1984, Blasphemy are recognised as one of the formative bands in the development of war metal. Their appearance at NADA Fest follows their Portuguese debut at SWR Barroselas Metalfest in 2024.

Los Angeles-based Sadistic Intent, formed in 1987, bring several decades of underground death metal history to the bill. The band also made its Portuguese debut also at SWR Barroselas Metalfest, in 2023.

Gehenna, formed in Norway in 1993, complete the first wave of confirmations. The festival has announced their performance as a Portuguese debut.

The 2027 event will be the sixth edition of NADA Fest. The festival emerged following the end of Santa Maria Summer Fest and continues its focus on underground metal in the Alentejo region.

Festival passes are listed at 60€, with camping and access to the swimming pool included. Day tickets are expected to be announced separately. Further bands are yet to be confirmed.
