Heavy Duty Fest warm-up Brings Wanderer, Ladon Heads and Ashen Throne to Porto

The Heavy Duty Fest warm-up event will take place in Porto on December 5th 2026, ahead of the festival’s second edition in Lisbon the following week.

The concert is scheduled for Woodstock 69, with Portuguese heavy metal band Wanderer, Ladon Heads and Ashen Throne on the bill.

Wanderer, from Porto, draw on traditional heavy metal, making their appearance a local highlight of the warm-up event. Ladon Heads, who presented their debut album Steel by Fire during the first Heavy Duty Fest in 2025, will also be part of the programme. Ashen Throne complete the announced line-up.

The event serves as a prelude to the second edition of Heavy Duty Fest, scheduled for December 12th at RCA Club in Lisbon. The main festival’s line-up includes American heavy metal band Medieval Steel, British act Elixir, Portuguese veterans Tarantula, Austrian band Venator, Wicked Leather and Toxik Attack.

The Porto warm-up provides a separate opportunity to catch three bands before the main festival takes place in the capital.
