On 11 June 2026, Hard Club welcomed Brazilian death metal veterans Krisiun for a concert promoted by Notredame Productions, bringing one of South America’s longest-running extreme metal acts back to Portuguese stages.
Joined by Portuguese opening acts Tvmvlo and Skinning, the evening presented a contemporary extreme music, combining established international names with representatives of the national underground scene.

Opening the night, Skinning delivered a concise but effective set that immediately established the event’s intensity.
The trio focused on material that has long been associated with their place within the Portuguese death metal underground, opening with “Sadistic Butcher” and “The Gravedigger”. With little time between songs, the band maintained a direct and uncompromising approach, later revisiting tracks such as “Wrong Path” and “Homicidal Experimentations”, which closed their performance to a warm reception from the growing audience inside Hard Club.

Tvmvlo followed with a set largely centred on their 2024 album Portals of Terror.
Despite a brief technical interruption early in the performance, the Viseu-based group quickly regained momentum and delivered approximately forty minutes of old-school death metal. Their performance was met with enthusiastic crowd participation, including sustained headbanging and several mosh pits, reinforcing the band’s reputation as one of the most consistent names in the Portuguese underground scene. Material from Portals of Terror formed the backbone of the set, showcasing the band’s blend of traditional death metal influences and contemporary production values.

Taking the stage as the longstanding trio of Alex Camargo, Moyses Kolesne and Max Kolesne, Krisiun delivered a performance that reflected the musical identity they have maintained since their formation in 1990.
From the opening moments, it was clear that the Brazilian veterans had assembled a setlist designed to cover multiple eras of their career, balancing material from their formative years with selections from more recent releases.
The concert opened with “Kings of Killing” and “Apocalyptic Revelation”, both taken from the band’s late-1990s catalogue, immediately establishing the relentless pace that would define the evening. As the set progressed, Krisiun revisited different chapters of their discography, including “Vicious Wrath” from AssassiNation, while also presenting material from their latest studio album, Mortem Solis. Among the newer compositions, “Necronomical” and “Serpent Messiah” stood out as examples of how the trio continues to integrate contemporary material into a catalogue shaped by more than three decades of activity.
Instrumental showcases also played an important role throughout the performance. A drum solo preceded “Serpent Messiah”, followed by a guitar feature that highlighted the technical proficiency that has long been associated with the band’s live performances. The audience responded enthusiastically throughout the set, with circle pits and constant movement on the floor accompanying each song.
For the encore-like conclusion, Krisiun closed the evening with “Descending Abomination”, prompting one of the strongest reactions of the night as the crowd repeatedly chanted the band’s name. The final moments reinforced the enduring connection between the Brazilian trio and Portuguese audiences, a relationship built through decades of touring and repeated visits to the country.
