Following a first night marked by the intensity of Skinning, TVMVLO, Undersave and Krisiun, LX Extreme Death Fest returned to RCA Club for its second and final day celebrating extreme metal.
With an equally strong line-up, Saturday’s programme brought together different approaches to death metal, from the direct aggression of Last Piss Before Death and Crucivore to the technical precision and heaviness of Destroyers Of All.
Closing the festival were Brazilian death metal force Crypta, one of the most acclaimed bands of the new generation of global death metal and one of the most anticipated performances of the entire event.
As fans once again gathered at RCA Club, anticipation grew for another night of crushing riffs, frantic rhythms and the familiar communion between bands and audience that had characterised the festival throughout both days.

Last Piss Before Death were responsible for opening the second night of LX Extreme Death Fest.
Formed in Lisbon in 2019, the band delivers a sound that blends death metal and groove metal, embracing an intense and energetic approach that quickly captured the attention of those in attendance.
After a brief appearance on stage for the usual sound adjustments, the concert began punctually. Despite the early hour, the venue already showed a strong turnout, demonstrating that many festival-goers did not want to miss the beginning of what would be the final day of the festival.
The performance opened with “Fall”, followed by “Tear Down the Wall” and “Voices”, songs that quickly set the audience in motion. Between raised arms and constant headbanging to the rhythm of the riffs, the band’s energy received an immediate response from the crowd, who wasted no time in forming the first circle pits of the night.
Throughout the concert, Last Piss Before Death also performed “Supernova”, “Cry”, “Madman”, “Devil’s Road” and “Reset”, building an intense and dynamic set. The temperature inside RCA Club continued to rise, creating a suffocating and scorching atmosphere that seemed to amplify the impact of every song even further.
During the performance, the band took the opportunity to introduce some songs from their latest release. In a moment of interaction with the audience, frontman Edgar Alves asked how many people already knew the new album, while also reminding everyone that it was available at the festival’s merchandise stand.
The musicians’ relaxed and communicative attitude helped strengthen their connection with the audience, who responded enthusiastically throughout the entire set. Between songs, the band thanked Notredame Productions for the invitation and acknowledged everyone who had attended from the very first hours of the event.
With contagious energy and an attitude constantly focused on audience participation, Last Piss Before Death left a very positive impression while opening the second day of LX Extreme Death Fest, setting the stage for another night filled with heaviness and intensity.

Crucivore (full gallery below)
Crucivore were the second band to take the stage on the second night of LX Extreme Death Fest. Hailing from Lisbon and formed in late 2024, the group embraces an aggressive and heavy death metal approach, presenting a sound built around crushing riffs, intense rhythm sections and a strong emphasis on audience interaction.
The musicians took to the stage for the usual sound checks. However, shortly after the performance had begun and following the instrumental introduction “The Crucivore’s Feast (Intro)”, a minor technical issue arose involving Caesar Craveiro’s bass. The situation was quickly resolved by switching to a direct cable connection, allowing the concert to continue without significant interruption.
With the problem solved, the band launched into “Condemned” and “Memento Mori”, songs that immediately set the audience in motion. The venue continued to fill up and responded enthusiastically, with raised fists and plenty of headbanging accompanying every sonic assault.
During one of the first moments of interaction, vocalist Ricardo “Bugs” addressed the audience, commenting on the intense heat inside RCA Club. He thanked everyone from the bottom of his heart for attending and issued a challenge: “Is everyone ready for death metal?”. The response came instantly through a loud and collective “Yeah!” from the crowd.
The performance continued with “Depths of Despair”, “The Banished Torment” and “The Oracle”. It was during the presentation of “Depths of Despair” that Bugs encouraged the formation of another circle pit, gesturing towards the audience before jokingly adding, “Now kill each other!”, drawing laughter and increasing the excitement among those present.
One of the most light-hearted moments of the performance came with the special appearance of Telmo Carvalho, vocalist of Haunted Mind, who entered the stage wearing a cape draped over his shoulders, creating an unexpected and amusing moment that was warmly received by the audience.
Musically, Crucivore left a very positive impression. Bugs’ guttural vocals proved powerful and consistent throughout the entire set, while the fast and aggressive riffs of Sérgio Páscoa and Ricardo Jorge maintained the intensity at high levels. Special mention must also be given to Tomás Carvalho behind the drums, demonstrating confidence, speed and precision in a performance that helped sustain the weight of the entire set.
Towards the end, “The Matriarch” and “Triumph of the Grotesque Disorder” paved the way for the closing track, “Whispers from Eternal Sickness”. By that stage, the audience was completely immersed in the show, responding to every encouragement from the band with energy and enthusiasm.
Before leaving the stage, Crucivore thanked Notredame Productions for the invitation, saluted the other bands on the bill and offered one final word of appreciation to the audience, bringing an intense and well-received performance to a close and confirming the potential of a still-young band already capable of carving out its place within the Portuguese extreme metal scene.

Destroyers Of All (full gallery below)
Before the highly anticipated Crypta took the stage, it was time for Destroyers Of All to perform at RCA Club. Hailing from Coimbra and formed in 2011, the band has steadily distinguished itself through its progressive death/thrash metal approach, combining technical proficiency, heaviness and musical complexity into a unique identity within the Portuguese scene.
Following a brief instrumental introduction, the musicians immediately launched into “Insaniam”, opening an intense and technically flawless performance. This was followed by “Ritual” and “False Idols”, a sequence that highlighted the band’s ability to balance aggression and precision while quickly capturing the audience’s attention.
With the venue already fully immersed in the festival atmosphere, Destroyers Of All performed “Death Healer”, a song that featured an excellent guitar solo from Alex Correia. While the guitarist showcased his technical abilities to the applause of the crowd, vocalist João Mateus took the opportunity to thank RCA Club, Notredame Productions, the other bands on the bill and the audience in attendance. The response came spontaneously, with the crowd chanting an enthusiastic “Hey! Hey! Hey!” in unison, reflecting the excellent atmosphere that prevailed at that moment of the evening.
The final stretch of the concert also included “Guile” and “Into the Fire”, songs that continued to fuel the various mosh pits and the constant participation of those present. Despite the intense heat inside the venue, the audience remained tireless, responding to every encouragement from the band with raised fists, headbanging and seemingly endless energy.
Special mention must also be given to Filipe Gomes behind the drum kit. With a fast and precise performance supported by powerful double bass drumming, the drummer proved to be one of the pillars of the show, contributing decisively to the sonic impact of Destroyers Of All.
The concert concluded with “Break the Chains”, bringing to an end a performance marked by technical quality, professionalism and an ability to engage the audience from the first minute to the last. With a solid and convincing performance, Destroyers Of All proved to be an excellent choice to prepare the ground for Crypta’s arrival, maintaining the intensity at a high level and leaving the audience ready for the final chapter of LX Extreme Death Fest 2026.

Crypta (full gallery below)
At last came the most anticipated moment of the second night of LX Extreme Death Fest. Brazilian death metal force Crypta took to the stage at RCA Club to close the 2026 edition of the festival. Formed in São Paulo in 2019, the band quickly became one of the most relevant names of the new generation of global death metal, earning recognition through its combination of technical ability, aggression and commanding stage presence.
As the introduction echoed through the venue, the musicians took their positions under the applause of an audience visibly eager for the performance to begin. The anticipation that had built throughout the evening instantly turned into euphoria as the band launched into “Death Arcana”. The reaction was immediate, with the audience welcoming the Brazilians with an overwhelming display of enthusiasm.
Without losing momentum, the band followed with “Lullaby for the Forsaken”, “Poisonous Apathy”, “The Outsider” and “I Resign”, a sequence that demonstrated the strength of their repertoire. Throughout the concert, the audience remained highly participative, accompanying several moments with the now familiar chants of “Hey! Hey! Hey!”, which echoed throughout the venue.
Between songs, several voices from the crowd could also be heard repeatedly shouting, “This is the good stuff!”, in a genuine display of enthusiasm from those present. Fernanda Lira’s amused reaction suggested that the vocalist may not have fully understood the exact meaning of the Portuguese expression, observing the crowd with some curiosity while applause and cheers continued to resonate through the room.
A significant part of the performance’s impact rested on the impressive presence of Fernanda Lira. The vocalist and bassist displayed a commanding stage presence, alternating intense expressions with constant communication with the audience. Her aggressive and powerful voice proved to be one of the central elements of the show, leading each song with remarkable confidence and personality.
Within the instrumental section, Luana Dametto once again impressed behind the drums. Her fast, precise and technically impeccable performance sustained the entire concert, with rapid passages and powerful double bass work drawing repeated reactions of admiration. Tainá Bergamaschi also shone throughout the evening, delivering fast riffs with remarkable ease, creating an almost organic connection between guitarist and instrument. The band’s new guitarist, Victoria Villarreal, integrated seamlessly into the group’s dynamic, contributing to a cohesive and highly professional performance.
The passage through songs such as “Dark Clouds”, “Stronghold”, “Under the Black Wings”, “The Other Side of Anger”, “Trial of Traitors” and “Lord of Ruins” kept the intensity levels consistently high. Faced with a crowd completely captivated by the performance, there was no shortage of collective headbanging, raised arms and even several crowdsurfing moments, demonstrating the audience’s total involvement with the show.
Towards the final moments, “From the Ashes” brought an overwhelming performance to a close, fully confirming the expectations surrounding the band. The cohesion between the four musicians, the technical quality displayed throughout the concert and the tireless response of the audience transformed this closing performance into one of the most memorable moments of the festival.
With a powerful and flawless performance, Crypta brought LX Extreme Death Fest 2026 to a perfect conclusion, putting an end to two days marked by the celebration of extreme metal, strong audience attendance and performances of outstanding quality.
