Assembleia do Metal returns to Pindelo dos Milagres for Christmas 2026

Assembleia do Metal will return on December 26th 2026 to the Salão dos Bombeiros in Pindelo dos Milagres, Portugal, with six bands representing different strands of the national and Galician metal scenes.

Organised by Milagre Metaleiro – Associação Cultural, the event has become a recurring gathering for the Portuguese metal community during the Christmas period. This year, the organisers are presenting the concept of “Aldeia do Natal”, maintaining the event’s community focus while giving the edition a seasonal identity.

The line-up begins with Crimson Legacy, whose traditional heavy metal draws on the genre’s classic foundations. They are followed by thrash metal band Overhated, from São Pedro do Sul, and black metal act Azzaya.

Also confirmed are Anifernyen, alongside Galician band Cabodano, winners of the Laurus Metal Battle 2025. The programme closes with Zurrapa, a band with a longstanding connection to Pindelo dos Milagres.

The six acts offer a varied programme, moving between traditional heavy metal, thrash and black metal while bringing together performers from Portugal and Galicia.

Doors are scheduled to open at 18:00. Advance tickets cost 13€ until November 30th and 16€ until December 25th, rising to 20€ at the door, subject to availability.

Assembleia do Metal is organised by the association behind Milagre Metaleiro Open Air and Ressurreição do Metal, continuing its work within Portugal’s underground metal community.
