Resurrection Fest announces first line-up for 2027, led by Evanescence, Mötley Crüe, Parkway Drive and Lorna Shore
Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia has announced the first 72 bands for its 2027 edition, scheduled to take place from June 30th to July 3rd in Viveiro, Galicia, Spain. The initial line-up brings together established names from hard rock and heavy metal, alongside acts from progressive metal, metalcore, deathcore, hardcore and punk.
The festival’s four principal headliners are Evanescence, Mötley Crüe, Parkway Drive and Lorna Shore, representing different generations and styles within the wider rock and metal scene.
Evanescence will bring their alternative metal catalogue to Viveiro, led by vocalist Amy Lee. Mötley Crüe, one of the defining bands of the Los Angeles glam metal scene, will represent the festival’s hard rock side. Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive are also confirmed, while Lorna Shore will bring their blend of symphonic arrangements and deathcore to the event. According to the organisers, Lorna Shore and Parkway Drive will each play their only show on the Iberian Peninsula in 2027.
The announcement also includes Helloween, who will perform a special extended set celebrating 40 years in music. The German power metal band will appear with vocalists Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen and Andi Deris. Their appearance adds a landmark anniversary performance to the programme.
Thrash metal fans can look forward to Kreator, while Dropkick Murphys will return to the festival after a ten-year absence. Motionless in White are also confirmed, with the band expected to perform material from their latest album alongside their established repertoire.
Several other performances have a particular significance. Enter Shikari are scheduled to play what the festival describes as their final Spanish show, while Cradle of Filth will mark the 35th anniversary of their album Dusk and Her Embrace with a special performance.
The first announcement also includes a broad selection of international acts, among them Leprous, Fever 333, Blood for Blood, Speed, GWAR, Richie Kotzen, Twin Temple, King Buffalo, Daughtry, Coldrain and Kylesa. The line-up spans a wide range of heavy music, from technical and progressive sounds to hardcore, punk, stoner and extreme metal.
Resurrection Fest 2027 will be the festival’s 22nd edition. The organisers have confirmed that further artists will be announced in the coming months, meaning the current list represents only the first stage of the programme.
The next batch of festival passes is scheduled to go on sale on Tuesday, November 10th 2026, at 12pm CET, with further ticket-purchasing information to be announced by the organisers.
