Banana Bong Fest returns to Guimarães with Idle Hand, Lord of Confusion, Spitgod and Trasgo

Banana Bong Fest will return to Guimarães on November 7th for its fourth edition, bringing four Portuguese underground acts to the Black Box at CAAA – Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura.

The line-up features Idle Hand, Lord of Confusion, Spitgod and Trasgo, with a programme focused on heavy and alternative music, including doom, sludge and related underground styles.

Created in 2023, Banana Bong Fest has developed as a small-scale event dedicated to independent music and the local alternative scene. Its intimate format places the focus on live performances and proximity between bands and audience, with the venue limited to approximately 150 people.

The 2026 edition continues that approach, bringing together four projects with different musical identities within a shared programme centred on heavier sounds.

Doors are scheduled to open at 21:30, with the concerts beginning at 22:00.

Advance tickets cost 12€, rising to 15€ on the day, subject to availability. The festival offers another opportunity to discover underground acts in a compact venue, while contributing to the independent music programme in Guimarães.
