Okkultist announce six-date Britannia Obscura UK Tour for November

Portuguese blackened death metal band Okkultist will tour the United Kingdom in November 2026 with a six-date run titled The Britannia Obscura UK Tour. The tour begins at Cart & Horses in Stratford, London, on 9 November and concludes at The Gryphon in Bristol on 14 November, with four additional dates in between.

The schedule includes a show at a venue yet to be announced on 10 November, followed by performances at The Winchester Gate in Salisbury, Chaplin’s & The Cellar Bar in Bournemouth, and The Tunnels in Frome. The tour brings Okkultist to venues across southern England, combining established underground music spaces with local acts from different areas of the heavy music scene.

Formed in Portugal in 2015, Okkultist have developed a sound rooted in blackened death metal, combining aggressive guitar work, forceful rhythms and occult-inspired themes. Their releases include the debut album Reinventing Evil (2019) and O.M.E.N. (Omnis Malum Et Noceo) (2023), which further established their approach to extreme metal and dark visual imagery.

The tour opens on 9 November at Cart & Horses in Stratford, London, where Okkultist will be joined by British band H I G H. Drawing on doom, sludge, stoner metal and psychedelic influences, H I G H are known for extended compositions that balance heavy riffs with slower, atmospheric passages.

The following night, on 10 November, the band will play a date whose town and venue have yet to be announced. Further details are expected to clarify the second stop on the itinerary.

On 11 November, Okkultist will perform at The Winchester Gate in Salisbury. The tour continues on 12 November at Chaplin’s & The Cellar Bar in Bournemouth, before moving to The Tunnels in Frome on 13 November. These dates are advertised with Finnish band Sidewalk Mafia and Brazilian act Morbus Fatalis, adding blackened gothic doom and funeral goth to the tour’s broader range of dark and extreme music.

The final concert takes place at The Gryphon in Bristol on 14 November, with Sidewalk Mafia and Morbus Fatalis completing the line-up. The closing date brings together all three bands for a night centred on contrasting approaches to heavy, atmospheric music.

With six consecutive dates across southern England, The Britannia Obscura UK Tour marks a substantial run of UK performances for Okkultist. The itinerary provides an opportunity for audiences beyond London and Bristol to encounter the Portuguese band, while connecting them with local venues and international artists from the underground scene.
