ANZV to make Swiss debut at Clash of Gods Festival 2027

Portuguese black and death metal band ANZV will perform at Clash of Gods – Heavy Metal & Craft Beer Festival in Zug, Switzerland, on May 28th 2027. The appearance is billed as the band’s first show in Switzerland.

The two-day festival will take place at the Stierenmarktareal on May 28 and 29, bringing together 14 bands from the international and Swiss extreme metal scenes alongside independent craft breweries.

ANZV are scheduled to play on Friday, joining a programme that includes Swiss band Vorax, black and folk metal act Morgarten, Greek melodic death metal band Aetherian and Swedish folk metal group Grimner. Finnish melodic black metal act Moonlight Sorcery will also perform before Danish death metal band Baest, the day’s headliner.

Saturday’s programme features Tylangir, Anhegony, Walg, Zørza, Whispered, Wormwood and Vintersorg, who will headline the second day.

The event is designed to combine extreme metal with craft beer and visual art. Five independent Swiss breweries are expected to participate, while a curated exhibition titled Danse Macabre is planned for the festival grounds.

Their inclusion at Clash of Gods brings a Portuguese act into an international programme that includes several exclusive Swiss performances.

Tickets are available as two-day or single-day passes, with the organisers advising that the published running order remains provisional.
