Hanging Garden NEW album

HANGING GARDEN is a Mikkeli/Helsinki based Finnish band, formed back in 2004 by Matti Reinola and Ari Nieminen. A complete lineup for the band was accomplished in 2005 with their debut album “Inherit the Eden” (2007) and “TEOTWAWKI”  (2009) both released via Spikefarm Records.

Going through major changes in their lineup, without their founding members, they continued to evolve from an heavy doom to a more melodic contemporary sonority. Their latest album brought also a change in their label with “At Every Door”  (2013) and “Blackout/Whiteout” (2015) being released under Lifeforce Records.
Antti Ruokola at this point decided to abandon the band, but due to close collaboration between musicians fast decision was made that Sami Forsstén would take his place on the drums.

For the upcoming album they decided to engage in a series of collaborations including Mikko Kotamäki (Swallow the Sun), Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Centinex, Volturyon), and Victor Wegeborn (The Moth Gatherer).
Their forthcoming album entitled “Hereafter” is to be released on October 7th via Lifeforce Records and an album teaser is available below for your consideration.
