Einar Solberg, best known as the frontman of Norwegian progressive metal band Leprous, will return to Portugal this September for two special concerts under his own name.
The Norwegian singer will perform at Sala Mouco in Porto on 22 September, followed by a show at República da Música in Lisbon on 23 September.
The two dates will feature a line-up of special guests. Royal Sorrow will make their official Lisbon debut, while Jovian Moons and Raphael Weinroth-Browne will also join the concerts.
Solberg’s latest album, Vox Occulta, was released on 24 April and features the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, adding a cinematic dimension to his distinctive progressive metal sound. The collaboration resulted in a bold and ambitious record that blends the intensity of progressive metal with the depth and scale of an orchestral arrangement.
These two Portuguese shows offer a chance to experience Solberg’s music beyond his work with Leprous, in an intimate live setting and alongside a diverse selection of artists from the progressive and experimental metal scenes.
Tickets are currently on sale for €28.
