Arcanxo Festival announces dates for 2027 Edition

Arcanxo Festival will return for its fourth edition on July 16 and 17 2027, at Praia Fluvial da Freixa in Ponteareas, Galicia. The organisers have confirmed the dates and opened submissions for bands interested in performing at the festival.

The announcement marks the beginning of preparations for the 2027 edition. The festival has not yet revealed any artists, with the first band announcements and initial ticket packages expected to follow in the coming months.

Arcanxo Festival has established itself as an independent metal event combining internationally recognised acts with emerging projects and artists from the Galician scene. Its previous edition, held in July 2026, featured Dark Tranquillity, Destruction, Venom Inc., Wolfheart, Hellripper, Induction and Sarcator, alongside several other bands.

The festival’s organisers continue to emphasise an independently run approach to programming, with a focus on bringing established names together with less widely known acts. The event also maintains a commitment to representing Galician bands across its programme.

The artwork for the 2027 edition has been created by Credo Quia Absurdum. Further announcements, including the first confirmed bands and ticket information, are expected at a later date.

Arcanxo Festival 2027 takes place on July 16 and 17 2027 at Praia Fluvial da Freixa in Ponteareas, Galicia, Spain.
