At the 11th album “Rulebreaker”, Primal Fear release their best album so far, always with the formula that is so characteristic to the heavy metal genre, blinking an eye to the Judas Priest riffing style, that always had left a smile on our faces.

What the listener can find here is a journey through time, of pure heaviness without being boring or repetitive, with strong tracks that will instantly catch our ears like “Angels of Mercy”, “The End Is Near”, “Bullets & Tears”,“Rulebreaker”, “At War with the World”, the long melodic epic “We Walk Without Fear”, and an anthem called “In Metal We Trust”.

Always with the voice of Ralf Scheeperson the spotlight, the guitars of Alex Beyrodtand Magnus Karlssondon’t stay hidden in any song. Although they don’t send into the shade the drumming of Francesco Jovino, and the bass of Mat Sinner, thanks to the engineering, mixing, and mastering of Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Denmark, and some additional recordings at Level 10/Guitarslinger, and Stuntguitar Music/Fear Studios. Since it was the band members Ralf Scheepers, Mat Sinner, and Magnus Karlsson that produced the album, the listener can instantly feel that difference in the songs, and the way the band deliver them, practicing what they preach, and as result, it sounds very genuine.

For all those classic heavy metal lovers, this Primal Fear record will be something to have in the stereo for some time, and a good discovery for those who dare to try. In any cases, we have here quality, and great riffs with effective lyrics to listen to.
